The Cryo laser is a minimally invasive medical device used to treat fat and cellulite. Unlike standard liposuction and fat grafting, cellulite lasers take a multi-dimensional approach, targeting pockets of fat and the causes of cellulite beneath the skin. Once the proper cold temperature is reached, pockets of uneven fat are disrupted under the skin. Next, the laser releases the fibrous bands that pull down on the skin and cause dimpling and unevenness. The laser fully releases these tethered bands (similar to a rubber band under tension), allowing the skin to bounce back and become smoother. Finally, the laser energy stimulates collagen production, which increases skin thickness and elasticity in the months following treatment. Loss with each session is common. 5 to 8 sessions common for best results, performed weekly or bi-weekly
